ibiza gran hotelIBIZA – Adrià brothers and owner of Cirque du Soleil, Guy Laliberté, announce ‘Heart’ a new cuisine concept for Ibiza Gran Hotel, uniting food, art and music.

“Heart wants to explore what happens when food, music and art collide,” a press release revealed, adding the new project is the result of “over ten years sharing ideas between Albert and Ferran Adrià and Guy Laliberté. Their common passion for food, music and art have led to Heart, which will open in the iconic site of Ibiza Gran Hotel”. The opening is scheduled for next summer.

Heart will consist of a street food market style terrace (Baraka) with world cuisine designed by Adrià and two further spaces (The Workshop, La Boîte) where food, live music, visual art and the performing arts will come together. Ferran Adrià describes the project as “a show and revelry representing Ibiza, very experimental”.

Utilising 2500m of space within Ibiza Gran Hotel, Heart will open from June until October with annual theme changes.
