San Antonio’s infamous Piscis Park hotel will undergo a 10 million euro makeover. Many believe the upgrade won’t only affect the hotel, but will benefit the entire town as a whole.
The hotel, located right at the heart of San Antonio, has long been held as the prime example of everything wrong with San Antonio.
The hotel has 366 rooms and is one of the biggest in San Antonio- only Ibiza Rocks is bigger. It is quite cheap, therefore targeting the younger end of the market. This is not a hotel you would recommend your friends to stay at.
However owners Playa Sol, a big hotel chain on the island, have said they soon will commence renovating the hotel, hoping to finish the entire project in a season or two. The makeover has a budget of 10 million euros, which aims to upgrade the current two stars to four stars.
CEO of Playa Sol, refers to the recent completion of the ‘new’ Algarb in Playa d’en Bossa, a hotel of similar size that successfully made the transition from two to four stars.
