These regulations are immediately in effect to mitigate the potential wildfire threat and ensure safety on both islands. Meanwhile, Mallorca and Menorca remain under a lower alert level, although certain municipalities there face higher risks. Ibiza Unites with Colombia in a Heartfelt Gesture of Hope

This Saturday, Ibiza's vibrant island spirit will unite with Colombian resilience at 'Ibiza for Colombia: United for Hope', a heartfelt event taking place at Sa Punta des Molí in Sant Antoni. Running from 1 PM to 10 PM, the day promises a lively atmosphere with traditional music and delicious food, all for a powerful cause. The initiative aims to collect donations to support Colombia's recovery efforts following the devastating earthquake in August. Funds and essential items gathered will be sent directly to Colombia, avoiding taxes due to a special agreement. Alejandra Gámez, representing the Association of Colombians in Ibiza and Formentera, highlighted the importance of financial contributions, yet clothing and essential products will also be warmly accepted. The event not only aims to raise significant support but also to provide psychological comfort to those affected. Future events are planned, with another fundraiser set for October 10 at Parque de la Paz, ensuring ongoing transparency about the support provided to those in need.
