Ibiza is making strides toward becoming even more welcoming to all, as the local council unveils plans for a groundbreaking guide on inclusive leisure and commerce. A joint session involving the island's social and health entities took place this week, led by Ibiza's Social Welfare councillor, Lola Penín. A first draft of this guide aims to offer clear, practical advice to businesses, ensuring accessibility across the board. It focuses on everything from physical space accessibility to communication improvements for those with disabilities. The document encourages participation from various organizations to ensure the guide meets the real needs of the community. This initiative complements ongoing efforts such as inclusive cinemas and improved beach accessibility, making Ibiza not only a party paradise but also a model city for inclusion.
