According to recent data from the Consell Econòmic i Social (CES), the ratio of tourists to residents has seen a positive change, dipping from 94.1% to 81%. This shift suggests that while visitor numbers have increased, the duration of their stays has become shorter. Additionally, the resident population on the island has grown considerably, contributing to this new balance. Despite the shorter stays, Ibiza's allure remains undiminished, with a staggering 3.38 million tourists arriving in 2025, marking a 3.3% rise compared to the previous year and a significant 12.3% increase compared to pre-pandemic levels in 2019. Interestingly, the amount of time spent by tourists has declined, especially among Spanish visitors whose stays dropped by 9.6%.
