Ibiza Vehicle Regulations Lead to Dramatic Drop in Caravan Arrivals

Ibiza's recent vehicle regulation has significantly cut down the number of caravans entering the island, which is gearing up for another bustling summer season. The pioneering rules, introduced last year, have considerably reduced traffic. During the 2025 peak season, from June to September, the island welcomed about 32,000 fewer vehicles than the same period in 2024, marking a 14.1% decrease. This positive trend continues in 2026. June alone saw a notable drop of 3,219 vehicles compared to June 2024, a 13% reduction following the initiatives. Particularly, the impact is more evident with campervans and caravans, where there's been a 54.2% dip year over year in 2025.
