Ibiza and Formentera are currently experiencing a second wave of scorching summer heat, with temperatures not just touching but soaring close to record highs. Recently, some areas like Sant Antoni and Sant Joan felt the intense heat of up to 40 degrees Celsius. While a slight dip is forecasted, temperatures are still expected to reach a sweltering 37 degrees, keeping the yellow heat alert in place. The heat is accompanied by high humidity and a haze of African dust, making conditions challenging for outdoor activities. Travellers are advised to exercise caution, particularly as the risk of wildfires remains substantial.
