Sant Antoni's local council has kick-started the return of oceanic posidonia to Caló des Moro beach, a crucial move happening after the summer tourist season comes to a close. This sustainable effort, also targeting Es Pouet beach, aims to restore natural coastal protection. Posidonia, a key marine plant, forms natural barriers that prevent erosion and coastline retreat by holding sediments in place. Removed in May before peak tourist influx, posidonia is stored at Can Coix before its autumn return. In 2025, 72 cubic metres were cleared.
