Despite complaints to local authorities, they have yet to see any action. Questions remain about who would be held accountable in the event of an accident involving these unauthorised operators. The issue casts a shadow not only on the legal businesses striving to maintain standards but also on Ibiza's buzzing tourist image. As the summer crowds flock to the islands, the local business community is pushing for strengthened inspections to uphold safety and fairness, urging the Sant Josep council to resolve this burgeoning issue.
