Ibiza's First July Weekend Sees Streets Overflow with Eager Tourists

As the peak season kicks off in Ibiza, the island is buzzing with tourists filling the streets on the first weekend of July. Visitors are making the most of their stay by shopping and exploring historic spots like Dalt Vila. Despite the scorching heat, many are squeezing every last moment out of their holiday. Among the visitors are José Manuel and Inma from Castellón, exploring the Pitiusas for the first time and excited to visit Formentera. Meanwhile, British couple Jill and Jeff, visiting for a wedding, have relished their time staying in a charming villa and are already planning to return. Also spotted is a Dutch family eager to enjoy the island's offerings while dealing with some noise disruptions at their hotel in Sant Antoni. Ian and Kerry from London, coping well with Ibiza's heat, are staying in Portinatx and finding the local surroundings clean, albeit some restaurants a tad pricey. With 405 flight operations expected just on this Saturday at Ibiza Airport and a total of 1,196 from Friday to Sunday, the influx of visitors via air and sea highlights the island's ongoing appeal this summer.
