The balmy weather in the Balearic Islands is making headlines as Ibiza and Formentera experience temperatures more akin to early summer. Mid-October saw highs of 28.4 degrees in Formentera and 26.7 degrees in Ibiza, unusually warm for this time of year. According to AEMET, these temperatures are about 3.3 degrees higher than the seasonal average. However, changes are on the horizon. This weekend, weather experts anticipate a significant shift as rainstorms are expected to hit the islands starting Saturday, causing temperatures to dip sharply. Romualdo Romero, a meteorology expert, notes that this typical autumnal storm could bring heavy rainfall and strong winds from the east and northeast. UK clubbers in Ibiza should brace for the possibility of sudden weather changes in the coming days.
