In a bid to tackle unauthorised holiday lettings, local authorities in Ibiza have intensified their crackdown. A recent incident saw the Local Police responding to noise complaints during the early hours which led to the discovery of an illegal short-term rental property. The tenants had arranged their stay from August 13th to 23rd via a booking platform, at a cost of €6,000. The encounter resulted in a formal report for illegal tourist renting, adding to the growing list of similar violations this year. Ibiza's authorities are firmly enforcing regulations against unlawful accommodations, with substantial penalties for offenders. The continued vigilance underscores the island's commitment to regulating its tourist industry in adherence with local laws.
