On a starry night in Ibiza, the typically serene plaza of Jesús was transformed into a vibrant stage for an extraordinary musical event: the ‘Rock Legends Symphony’. This unique concert saw the electrifying energy of rock collide with the grandeur of symphonic sound, thanks to a collaboration between the band Eternal Echoes and the Banda Municipal de Música de Santa Eulària. Part of the festivities for the local parish, the free event started at 10 PM and featured some of rock’s most iconic tracks, masterfully orchestrated by Frank Cogollos. The evening’s setlist was a rock enthusiast's dream, including hits like ‘Paranoid’, ‘Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door’, and ‘Highway to Hell’. Eternal Echoes, led by vocalists Marc Riera and Sophie Princic Bel, delivered a powerhouse performance supported by Iván Tamarit, Alejandro Costa, and Héctor Lacalle. With the heatwave set to continue on Monday, the Spanish Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued a yellow alert, warning that the mercury could reach up to 36 degrees between noon and 7 PM. The Balearic Emergency Services have echoed this alert, urging visitors and locals alike to take necessary precautions.
