The airport managed 9,554 flights during the month, matching the passenger growth rate of 6.1% above May 2025 numbers. Between January and May, 2,468,473 passengers have passed through this Balearic gateway, a 3.1% boost year-on-year, during which 24,351 flights were coordinated, reflecting a 3.5% rise. Meanwhile, Aena’s network, encompassing 46 Spanish airports and more, echoed this positive trend with 36.1 million passengers in May, a 4.7% increase. These figures suggest a robust travel season ahead despite recent geopolitical strains and shifts in transport preferences.
