A long-time resident laments the decline of the area, noting issues such as illegal moorings, environmental degradation, and growing noise pollution, which is allegedly disturbing both humans and marine life, including dolphins. An online petition campaigning for the preservation of Platges de Comte has already garnered 1,736 signatures, calling for stricter enforcement against nearshore mooring and excessive noise.
