Ibiza is tightening the reins on transport regulations as part of an ongoing campaign aimed at curbing unauthorized services. In a coordinated operation with the local police, the Consell d’Eivissa inspectors identified a slew of violations that amounted to a staggering €27,400 in proposed fines in just one night. Key infringements included actions against a private vehicle hire service accused of soliciting clients without proper authorization, alongside three breaches of the vehicle entry limit law. Vigilance against illegal transport operations is particularly heightened during the bustling tourist period, ensuring that travellers can enjoy the island's attractions with peace of mind.
