These flights will operate four times a week during the bustling summer months, enhancing access for American tourists eager to experience the legendary Ibiza lifestyle.

This development is hailed as a 'historic' milestone by the Balearic Association of Travel Agencies, noting that it could increase visitor numbers by making travel more seamless. The flights will link up with Newark, a major United hub, allowing for convenient onward journeys to various US destinations.

Operating with the Airbus A321XLR, a state-of-the-art single-aisle aircraft, United demonstrates its commitment to improving travel efficiency and pushing the island's profile on the international stage.
