British clubbers, pack your bags! Starting 31st May 2027, United Airlines will offer direct flights from Newark, New York to the party capital, Ibiza, as part of their largest expansion ever. Expect four flights a week, landing you straight into the iconic clubbing scene without the hassle of connecting flights. This makes United the first American airline to fly directly to the White Isle, opening new opportunities for easy travel to the Balearics. The airline's decision follows its successful launch of a direct route to Palma, Mallorca in 2022. With the introduction of this service, Ibiza's allure for international tourists, particularly from the US, is set to rise. Hotelier interest on the island is high, given the expected boost in high-spending North American visitors. Keep an eye out for United's newly unveiled A321XLR aircraft, designed for these routes and tagged 'Born to Explore'. While flight schedules beyond the summer season remain unconfirmed, this connection marks a big win for Ibiza's global appeal, consolidating its status as a premier destination for music and fun.
