Ibiza's summer season faces a potential hiccup as the Balearic Association of Rental Vehicles (BALEVAL) has demanded a halt to the island's planned rental car restrictions. The reason? With only a fortnight until these limitations kick in, companies still aren't sure how many cars they’re allowed. This uncertainty is causing legal unrest, as the association claims the lack of timely information creates legal chaos for businesses. Last year saw similar issues when new car access laws were introduced, and BALEVAL insists the Consell should have provided precise numbers three months ago.
