Ibiza is taking centre stage at the World Travel Market in London with the launch of 'Ibiza Revealed', an exciting new programme designed to showcase the rich heritage and identity of the island. This initiative connects 98 notable historical, cultural, and natural sites across four themed itineraries, providing a fresh way for visitors to explore Ibiza's unique charms.
During the event from 3rd to 5th November, the island's promotion team, along with local municipalities and travel businesses, will present 'Ibiza Family Moments', aimed at enhancing Ibiza's appeal to families. The UK, a key market for Ibiza, continues to show strong loyalty with a 61% repeat visitor rate, making this market presence vital.
The ambitious 'Ibiza Revealed' invites tourists to delve into the island's story, from its coastal defences and ancient rural landscapes to its vibrant social and cultural past. Each site is equipped with interactive QR codes offering deeper insights through digital content. Initially available in English and Spanish, plans to expand language offerings are underway.
In addition, Ibiza's focus on family tourism will be highlighted with sessions discussing the latest in this sector, targeting new strategies to adapt to the evolving expectations of family travellers.
The four Ibizan towns—Ibiza, Santa Eulària des Riu, Sant Josep de sa Talaia, and Sant Antoni de Portmany—are also showcasing their unique offerings, ranging from culinary experiences to exploring 'slow life' routes. This comprehensive push at the World Travel Market underscores Ibiza's ambition to broaden its appeal beyond the traditional party scene, offering something for every traveller throughout the year.
