Meanwhile, plastics and wood dominated the kinds of waste retrieved, highlighting ongoing challenges. Responding to 39 alerts throughout the season, from hazards like drifting ships and occasional fuel spills to assisting stranded marine wildlife, the team worked tirelessly to maintain the island's famed beauty. These critical efforts ensure Ibiza remains a top destination for UK tourists and clubbers, safeguarding the natural allure that keeps drawing them back each year.
