Petrol now averages 1.765 euros per litre, while diesel hits 1.891 euros per litre on the island. This marks a significant increase from June's prices, with diesel seeing the largest hike at 16 cents more per litre. Despite these hikes, Ibiza still remains under the peak prices seen during the Ormuz Strait crisis. August brought a small decline in hotel occupancy rates for Ibiza and its sister island, Formentera. Despite these subtle shifts, the season overall remains bullish, with average occupancy from May to August sitting at 85.21%, up from last year. Ibiza saw growth in nearly all areas, with Sant Antoni and the bay leading the rise.
